GB Glace ice cream

GB Glace is the largest ice cream manufacturer in Sweden. It was founded in 1942 through a merger of several smaller dairy companies and was originally known as Glace-Bolaget. The brand is iconic for its 'Big Top' logo and its association with summer treats.

While the brand has deep Swedish roots, it was acquired by the multinational conglomerate Unilever in 1996. Today, it operates as part of Unilever's Heartbrand division, which includes other world-famous ice cream brands like Wall's and Langnese. While many products are specifically designed for the Swedish market and produced locally at the Flen factory, Unilever utilizes its global supply chain, meaning some products or ingredients are sourced or manufactured across multiple countries.
