Valio yoghurt

Valio is a Finnish dairy manufacturer, owned by 18 dairy cooperatives with approximately 7,900 milk farmers as members. It is Finland's largest milk processor, producing 85% of the country's milk, and is the market leader in key dairy product categories in Finland. Valio is also Finland’s biggest food exporter, selling products to nearly 60 countries. Valio's product range includes a variety of yoghurts, such as natural, flavoured, and lactose-free options, catering to diverse consumer preferences. The company operates 15 production facilities in Finland, two in Estonia, and has subsidiaries in Russia, Sweden, the Baltic countries, the United States, and China. International operations account for one third of Valio's net turnover. Valio is committed to sustainability, being the first company in the world to start using fully plant-based cartons for its milk, sour milk, cream, and yoghurt products sold in Finland. This initiative reduces CO2 emissions by 3,140 tonnes annually, compared to traditional materials.
