Slotts Original Senap

Slotts Senap is one of Sweden's most iconic condiments, originally founded in 1919 in Uppsala. The brand is famous for its smooth (finmalen) texture and its distinctive tubes and glass jars that have been a staple in Swedish households for over a century.

While the brand maintains its Royal Warrant and heavy association with Swedish culinary tradition, manufacturing was famously moved from Uppsala, Sweden, to Poland in 2014 following cost-saving measures by its global owner. Today, the brand is owned by Unilever, a British multinational consumer goods company, which continues to produce the original recipe for the Nordic market.
