Valensina is one of Germany's most iconic beverage brands, founded by Rolf H. Dittmeyer in 1966. Its name is inspired by the Valencia oranges of Spain, and it became famous through widespread television advertising that associated the brand with high-quality, sun-ripened fruit. The brand played a significant role in popularizing premium fruit juices in the German retail market.

Today, the brand is owned by Valensina GmbH, which operates modern bottling plants in Mönchengladbach, Vechta, and Erding. While the fruit itself—such as oranges and other citrus—is sourced globally from major growing regions like Brazil and the Mediterranean, the final processing, blending, and bottling occur within Germany. Since 2001, Valensina has been part of a larger family of brands under the same corporate umbrella, consistently maintaining its position as a market leader in the fruit juice segment.
