BiFi is a German brand of meat snacks, originally introduced in 1972 by Schafft Fleischwerke. The name 'BiFi' is derived from the English adjective 'beefy,' reflecting its meat-based products. In 1989, Schafft Fleischwerke became part of Union Deutsche Lebensmittelwerke GmbH, which was later acquired by Unilever. In February 2014, Unilever sold its meat snacks business, including the BiFi brand, to Jack Link's, a U.S.-based company specializing in meat snacks. The manufacturing of BiFi products continues in the original facilities in Ansbach, Germany. The primary owner of BiFi is the American company Jack Link's. BiFi was originally a German brand but is now owned by Jack Link's, which is headquartered in the United States.
