Löwenbräu Beer

Löwenbräu is a historic German brewery established in 1383 in Munich, renowned for its adherence to the Reinheitsgebot, the Bavarian beer purity law of 1516. The brewery has been a staple at Munich's Oktoberfest since 1810, offering a special Märzen beer for the festival. In 1997, Löwenbräu merged with Spaten-Franziskaner-Bräu to form Spaten-Löwenbräu-Gruppe. In 2004, ownership of the group was transferred to Anheuser-Busch InBev, the world's largest brewer, headquartered in Belgium. Löwenbräu's lion emblem symbolizes courage and strength, reflecting its rich heritage in the brewing industry.
