Perrier is a French brand of sparkling mineral water sourced from Vergèze, France. The brand was originally established by Dr. Louis-Eugène Perrier in 1898. In 1992, Nestlé S.A., a Swiss multinational food and beverage company, acquired Source Perrier S.A., making Perrier a part of the Nestlé Waters division. As of 2021, Nestlé Waters North America, Inc., which included brands like Perrier, was sold to One Rock Capital Partners and Metropoulos & Co., and subsequently rebranded as BlueTriton Brands. However, Perrier remained under the ownership of Nestlé S.A. through its subsidiary, Nestlé Waters H.Q., which continues to manage the brand's production and distribution globally. The brand is renowned for its distinctive green bottle and effervescent sparkling water, enjoyed in over 140 countries worldwide.
