Stimorol is a Danish brand of chewing gum that was introduced in 1956 by the company Dandy. Over the years, it expanded its presence beyond Scandinavia, reaching other European markets. In 2002, the majority of Dandy, including the Stimorol brand, was acquired by Cadbury-Schweppes, which later rebranded it as Trident. The remaining portion of the company, including the Stimorol brand, was renamed Gumlink and remains privately owned by the Bagger-Sørensen family, descendants of Dandy's founder. In 2023, the Stimorol brand was acquired by Perfetti Van Melle, an Italian-Dutch multinational confectionery and gum manufacturer. Therefore, while Stimorol originated in Denmark, it is now owned by an Italian-Dutch company, Perfetti Van Melle.
