Revlon Cosmetics

Revlon is an American multinational company specializing in cosmetics, skin care, perfumes, and personal care products. Founded in 1932 by Charles and Joseph Revson and chemist Charles Lachman, the company is headquartered in New York City. Revlon products are sold in 150 countries, with manufacturing facilities in multiple countries. The company has faced financial challenges, including filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in June 2022, but emerged from bankruptcy in May 2023. MacAndrews & Forbes, a private investment firm led by Ronald Perelman, acquired Revlon in 1985 and holds an 84.7% stake in the company as of 2021.
