Philadelphia Original Cream Cheese

Philadelphia Original Cream Cheese was first produced in 1872 by William Lawrence in Chester, New York. Despite its name, it was not invented in Philadelphia. The brand was initially sold to the Phenix Cheese Company, which later merged with Kraft to form the Kraft-Phenix Cheese Company. Today, Philadelphia is owned by Kraft Heinz Company, a leading global food and beverage company headquartered in the United States.
