In December 2019, Skytec Group Ltd. took 100% ownership of the Loewe brand, creating Loewe Technology GmbH and associated subsidiaries. In September 2024, French football star Kylian Mbappé bought a stake in Loewe, which the company expects will lead to an increase in sales and possibly an IPO. Despite these changes, Loewe has maintained its commitment to German engineering and design excellence, with its manufacturing facilities located in Kronach, Upper Franconia, Germany.
