Cambridge University Press is the publishing business of the University of Cambridge, established in 1534 by King Henry VIII. It is the oldest university press in the world and has a global presence, publishing over 50,000 titles by authors from more than 100 countries. In August 2021, it merged with Cambridge Assessment to form Cambridge University Press & Assessment. The press is headquartered in Cambridge, England, and operates in multiple countries worldwide. As a subsidiary of the University of Cambridge, it is ultimately owned by the university, which is headquartered in the United Kingdom.
