The primary owner of Zwilling J.A. Henckels is the German conglomerate Werhahn KG. Zwilling J.A. Henckels AG, based in Solingen, Germany, is one of the oldest and largest manufacturers of kitchen knives, founded in 1731 by Peter Henckels. The Four Star series is one of their top-selling knife collections, known for its high-quality construction and ergonomic design.
