Slazenger is a British sports equipment brand established in 1881 by brothers Ralph and Albert Slazenger. It is one of the world's oldest sports brands, known for its involvement in tennis, cricket, golf, and other racket sports. The company has a long-standing association with the Wimbledon Tennis Championship, providing tennis balls since 1902. In 1959, Slazenger was acquired by Dunlop Rubber, which was later purchased by BTR plc in 1985. In 2004, Sports Direct International, now known as Frasers Group, acquired Slazenger. The brand offers a range of products, including equipment for cricket, field hockey, golf, swimming, and tennis, as well as a clothing line. Manufacturing occurs in multiple countries, including the Philippines, where production is based. The brand has a rich history and continues to be recognized for its quality sports equipment.
