Finish Dishwasher Detergent

Finish is a globally recognized brand specializing in automatic dishwashing detergents, including tablets, gels, and rinse aids. The brand was originally created in 1953 by the American company Economics Laboratory, which later became Ecolab. It was developed to meet the growing demand for specialized cleaning agents as automatic dishwashers became common in mid-20th-century households.

In 1987, the consumer products division of Ecolab, which included the Finish brand along with others like Jet-Dry, was acquired by J.A. Benckiser. Following a series of corporate mergers, most notably the 1999 merger between Reckitt & Colman and Benckiser, the brand came under the ownership of the British multinational Reckitt (formerly Reckitt Benckiser).

Today, Finish is manufactured in multiple strategic locations worldwide to serve regional markets. Key production facilities are located in Poland, Germany (Ludwigshafen), Italy (Mira), and the United States (Rahway, New Jersey). The brand remains a leader in the industry, known for its consistent innovation, such as the introduction of the Powerball technology in 1999.
