Havana Club 3 Años is a white rum produced and aged in Cuba by Cuba Ron S.A., a state-owned company. In 1993, the brand entered into a joint venture with the French company Pernod Ricard S.A., which now holds the majority stake in Havana Club International S.A., the entity responsible for the brand's global distribution. Despite the U.S. embargo, Havana Club rum is exported to 125 countries, with significant markets in Germany, France, Spain, and Italy. The rum is aged for a minimum of three years in white oak barrels, resulting in a pale, golden straw color and a bouquet of smooth aromas with hints of oak, molasses, and sugar cane. The taste is well-balanced and complex, featuring a sweet, mild, fruity flavor with a light hint of citrus. It is commonly used in classic Cuban cocktails such as Mojitos and Daiquiris.
