Kallo Rice Cakes

Kallo is a prominent British health food brand founded in 1987, specializing in organic and natural products such as rice cakes, corn cakes, and stock cubes. The brand is celebrated for its commitment to high-quality, gluten-free, and vegan-friendly ingredients without artificial additives.

While the brand originated in the United Kingdom, its manufacturing operations are international. Production primarily takes place in Belgium and the Netherlands to serve a pan-European market, although some products are still manufactured in the UK. Since 2002, Kallo has been part of a larger corporate family when it was acquired by the Dutch company Royal Wessanen. In 2020, Wessanen rebranded as Ecotone, an international leader in organic and fair-trade food based in France. Today, Ecotone operates as a certified B Corp, overseeing Kallo alongside other sustainable brands like Whole Earth and Clipper Tea.
