In 1898, it was renamed Pepsi-Cola, and in 1961, it was shortened to Pepsi. The beverage's formula initially included sugar and vanilla. PepsiCo, Inc., headquartered in Harrison, New York, is the ultimate owner of the Pepsi brand. The company was formed in 1965 through the merger of the Pepsi-Cola Company and Frito-Lay, Inc. PepsiCo's portfolio includes a wide range of food and beverage brands, with operations in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide. In 2024, PepsiCo generated nearly $92 billion in net revenue.
