Nokia Mobile Phones

Nokia, originally a Finnish company founded in 1865, was a leading mobile phone manufacturer until 2014 when Microsoft acquired its mobile phone division. In 2016, HMD Global Oy, a Finnish company established by former Nokia executives, acquired the rights to use the Nokia brand for mobile devices. HMD Global Oy is responsible for the manufacturing, marketing, and sales of Nokia-branded mobile phones and tablets, holding the exclusive license to use the Nokia brand for mobile devices until 2024. Nokia Corporation, the original company, now focuses on network infrastructure, software, and patent licensing, providing critical infrastructure for telecommunications operators, governments, and enterprises. The brand 'Nokia' is still associated with mobile phones, but the current devices are produced by HMD Global Oy under the Nokia brand name.
