POPZ is a brand of microwave popcorn founded in 1999 by Jim Watkins, who pioneered microwave popcorn in the late 1970s. The brand was initially established in the USA under Golden Valley Foods. In 2011, production moved to Hungary, where POPZ Europe Kft. operates a state-of-the-art facility. The brand is currently owned by G. Vincenti & Sons S.A.L., a Lebanese company specializing in confectionery and snacks. POPZ is sold in over 38 countries worldwide, offering a variety of flavors and packaging options.
