Stimorol is a Danish brand of chewing gum introduced in 1956 by the company Dandy. Initially sold in Scandinavia, it expanded to other European countries, including the Netherlands in 1959. In 1978, Dandy introduced a sugar-free version of Stimorol. In 1990, Dandy was acquired by Mondelez International, an American multinational confectionery, food, and beverage conglomerate headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. Therefore, Stimorol is currently owned by Mondelez International, which is based in the United States.
