Budweiser Beer

Budweiser is a globally recognized American-style pale lager, famously marketed as the "King of Beers." It was introduced in 1876 by Carl Conrad & Co. of St. Louis, Missouri, and was inspired by the brewing traditions of Bohemia. The brand's early history is deeply rooted in the partnership between Eberhard Anheuser and his son-in-law Adolphus Busch, who transformed a small neighborhood brewery into the industrial giant Anheuser-Busch.

In 2008, the independent Anheuser-Busch was acquired by the Belgian-Brazilian brewing conglomerate InBev, forming Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev). Today, while maintaining a strong American identity and significant production facilities in the United States, Budweiser is brewed in dozens of countries worldwide to serve local markets.

In the Brazilian market, Budweiser is produced and distributed specifically by Ambev, a major subsidiary of AB InBev. The brand remains under the ultimate ownership of AB InBev, which is headquartered in Leuven, Belgium, and stands as the world's largest brewing company as of 2026.
