The brand has changed hands through major corporate acquisitions. In July 2011, the American multinational Colgate-Palmolive acquired Sanex from Unilever. Since 2011, Sanex has operated as a key asset within the Colgate-Palmolive portfolio. Manufacturing predominantly takes place in Europe, specifically in large-scale production facilities in Italy and France, ensuring the brand maintains its strong presence in the EMEA region.
