V6 is a well-known brand of dental chewing gum, originally established in Denmark. It was created with a focus on oral hygiene, being one of the first sugar-free gums containing fluoride and xylitol to support tooth mineralisation.
Over the decades, the brand's ownership has transitioned through several major food conglomerates. For many years, it was part of the Cadbury/Kraft Foods and later Mondelēz International portfolio. In late 2022/early 2023, Mondelēz announced the sale of its developed-market gum business, including brands like V6, Stimorol, and Trident, to the European confectionery giant Perfetti Van Melle.
Manufacturing of V6 products typically occurs in large-scale confectionery plants across Europe, particularly in countries like Poland and Turkey, to serve the Nordic and broader European markets.
