Ownership of the company remains private and family-controlled. In 2000, the family established the Victorinox Foundation to ensure the long-term independence and financial stability of the company. Today, Victorinox is the sole official supplier of multi-purpose knives to the Swiss Army after acquiring its long-time rival, Wenger, in 2005. The brand is globally recognized by its cross-and-shield emblem, symbolizing the quality and heritage of Swiss craftsmanship.
