Pringles is an iconic global brand of stackable potato-based crisps known for its unique cylindrical packaging. The product was originally developed by Procter & Gamble (P&G) in the United States in the late 1960s as a solution to consumer complaints about broken, greasy chips and air-filled bags. Since then, it has become one of the most recognizable snack brands in the world.
In 2012, Pringles was acquired by the Kellogg Company, which later underwent a major corporate restructuring. As of late 2023, the brand is owned by Kellanova, the successor company that manages the global snacking portfolio previously held by Kellogg's. Today, Pringles are manufactured at various high-tech facilities across the globe, including major sites in the United States, Belgium, Malaysia, and Poland, to meet international demand while maintaining their signature uniform shape and crunch.
