Nescafé Classic Instant Coffee

Nescafé is the flagship coffee brand of the Swiss multinational Nestlé. Its history dates back to 1929 when the Brazilian government approached Nestlé to find a way to preserve coffee surpluses following the Wall Street Crash. After seven years of research led by chemist Max Morgenthaler, the brand was officially launched in Switzerland on April 1, 1938. Since its inception, Nescafé has grown into one of the most recognized and widely distributed coffee brands globally.

While the first production facility was located in Orbe, Switzerland, the brand's immense global demand led to a decentralized manufacturing model. Today, Nescafé Classic is produced in dozens of countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas to serve local markets efficiently. The brand is currently managed under the global leadership of Nestlé S.A. and continues to innovate with sustainable sourcing through the Nescafé Plan 2030, focusing on regenerative agriculture and supporting coffee farmers worldwide.
