Nidar Smash!

Smash! is a unique Norwegian chocolate snack that was first launched in 1988 by the confectionery brand Nidar. It is characterized by its distinct combination of salty, sweet, and crispy textures, consisting of cone-shaped salted corn snacks covered in milk chocolate. The product has achieved an almost iconic status in the Norwegian market and is now also widely available across the Nordic region.

The product is manufactured at Nidar's primary factory in Trondheim, Norway. Nidar was originally an independent Norwegian company before merging with Nora Fabrikker to form Orkla Brands. Today, Smash! is owned by Orkla, a leading industrial investment company and a major player in the consumer goods market in Scandinavia, the Baltics, and parts of Central Europe.
