Natural American Spirit, often simply referred to as American Spirit, is a brand of tobacco products founded in 1982 by the Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Company. The brand is well-known for its 'additive-free' marketing and its logo featuring a Native American chieftain. Initially established in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the brand built a reputation for providing high-quality tobacco with minimal processing.

Today, the brand operates under a split ownership structure following a major acquisition in early 2016. While Reynolds American (a subsidiary of British American Tobacco) maintains the rights within the United States, the international rights to the brand were sold to Japan Tobacco International (JTI). Manufacturing for the international market takes place in several locations globally to meet regional demand, including facilities in Europe for the Dutch and UK markets.
