Calvé Pindakaas is an iconic peanut butter brand with deep roots in Dutch culinary history. The brand Calvé was established following the merger of the Nederlandsche Oliefabriek (NOF) and the French oil company Emmanuel Calvé & Co in 1928, though its origins in Delft date back to 1883. For decades, the product was manufactured at the historic factory in Delft, and it became a staple household name in the Netherlands thanks to its high-quality ingredients and famous marketing campaigns.

Today, Calvé is owned by Unilever, one of the world's largest consumer goods companies. Following the closure of the iconic Delft factory in 2008, production was moved to other facilities, primarily remaining within the Netherlands to maintain its authentic taste profile. As a global brand under the Unilever portfolio, it continues to lead the market in the Benelux region, known for its smooth texture and rich peanut flavor.
