Nestlé Lion Bar

Lion is a classic chocolate bar consisting of a filled wafer, caramel, and crisp cereal covered in milk chocolate. It was originally created by Eric Nicoli of Rowntree’s in the United Kingdom in 1976. The brand became part of the Nestlé portfolio in 1988 when Nestlé acquired Rowntree Mackintosh.

Today, the product is manufactured in several locations globally to serve different markets. A significant portion of the production for the European market takes place in Poland and the United Kingdom. As of 2026, Nestlé remains the ultimate owner, maintaining its position as the world's largest food and beverage company with headquarters in Switzerland.
