Beauvais Ketchup

Beauvais is a household name in Denmark, famously known for its high-quality condiments, pickled vegetables, and ready-made meals. Founded in 1850 by Jean Desiré Beauvais, the brand pioneered the canning industry in Denmark, initially focusing on meat and vegetables.

Over the decades, Beauvais became synonymous with Danish food culture, particularly through its iconic tomato ketchup. While the brand has deep Danish roots and its headquarters remains in Denmark, the large-scale production of many products, including tomato ketchup, was shifted to Sweden to streamline operations within the parent company's Nordic supply chain.

Since 1995, Beauvais has been part of Orkla ASA, a leading Norwegian industrial conglomerate. Today, it operates under Orkla Foods Danmark, continuing to serve the Danish market with products that maintain the traditional recipes established over 170 years ago.
