Colman's is one of the oldest and most iconic British food brands, famously known for its distinctive yellow packaging and bull's head logo. Founded in 1814 by Jeremiah Colman in Norwich, England, it established a legacy of producing high-quality English mustard. For over 160 years, the brand was deeply rooted in Norwich, using locally grown mustard seeds from the surrounding Norfolk and Lincolnshire fields.

In recent history, the brand was acquired by the consumer goods giant Unilever. In 2020, Unilever closed the historic Carrow Works factory in Norwich, moving much of the production to Burton upon Trent and Germany. However, some processing of mustard seeds remains in Norfolk through a local cooperative of farmers to maintain the brand's heritage and flavor profile. Today, Colman's remains a global staple, representing traditional British culinary heritage under the ownership of one of the world's largest multinational companies.
