Veltins Pilsener

Veltins is one of Germany's most prominent private breweries, deeply rooted in the Sauerland region. Founded in 1824 by Clemens Veltins in the small town of Grevenstein, the brewery has remained under family management for five generations, currently led by Susanne Veltins. The brand's identity is closely tied to its use of exceptionally soft spring water from the local conservation area, which allows for the production of a characteristically mild Pilsener.

Throughout its history, Veltins has been a pioneer in brewing technology, being one of the first in the region to utilize electric power and refrigeration. Unlike many other major German beverage brands that have been absorbed by global conglomerates, Veltins remains an independent, family-owned entity. It has expanded its reach internationally and is a significant sponsor in various sports, notably maintaining a long-standing naming rights partnership with the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen.
