Neutrogena Hand Cream

Neutrogena’s Norwegian Formula hand cream is one of the most recognizable skincare products globally, famously inspired by the traditional recipes used by Norwegian fishermen to protect their skin from harsh Arctic conditions. Despite the 'Norwegian Formula' branding and the prominent use of the Norwegian flag, the brand itself was founded in the United States and is currently manufactured in various locations including France, Greece, and South Korea, depending on the specific regional market.

Originally founded in 1930 by Emanuel Stolaroff as a specialty cosmetic company called Natone, it became Neutrogena in 1962. It was acquired by Johnson & Johnson in 1994. Following a corporate spin-off in 2023, Neutrogena is now part of Kenvue, an independent consumer health company. Kenvue is headquartered in the United States and manages an extensive portfolio of well-known health and beauty brands.
