Aquafresh is a globally recognized oral hygiene brand widely known for its iconic 'triple stripe' formulation, representing fresh breath, strong teeth, and healthy gums. The brand was first introduced in 1973 by Beecham, which later became part of GlaxoSmithKline (GSK).
Historically, the brand was a cornerstone of GSK's consumer healthcare portfolio for decades. However, following a significant corporate restructuring in 2022, the brand was transitioned to Haleon, an independent consumer healthcare company formed from the demerger of GSK's consumer health business.
Manufacturing of Aquafresh products occurs across several international sites to serve local markets efficiently. Major production facilities are located in the United Kingdom, the United States, and various European locations. As of 2024 and beyond, Haleon continues as the ultimate owner, focusing exclusively on consumer health products.
