Lanjarón Natural Mineral Water

Lanjarón is a renowned Spanish brand of natural mineral water with a history dating back to 1818, when its springs in the Sierra Nevada mountains were declared medicinal. The water is sourced from the Salud spring in the town of Lanjarón, located within the Sierra Nevada National Park in Granada, Andalusia.

Due to stringent European regulations for natural mineral water, it must be bottled directly at the source to preserve its purity and unique mineral profile. Therefore, all Lanjarón water is manufactured exclusively in Spain at the Fuenteaporta bottling plant.

Originally founded by local interests capitalized on the health-associated springs of the region, the brand grew significantly throughout the 20th century. In 1993, it was acquired by the French multinational Grupo Danone. Today, it operates as part of the Aguas Danone subsidiary, maintaining its strong Spanish identity while leveraging Danone's global distribution network.
