Mövenpick is a Swiss ice cream brand founded in 1948 by Ueli Prager. Initially, it was produced by the Mövenpick Group, which expanded into various food and beverage sectors. In 2003, Nestlé acquired the international rights for Mövenpick ice cream. In 2016, Froneri, a joint venture between Nestlé and R&R Ice Cream, began manufacturing Mövenpick ice cream. Froneri is headquartered in the United Kingdom and operates globally, including in the United States. Therefore, Mövenpick ice cream is produced in multiple countries, including the USA.
