Ferrero Rocher

Ferrero was founded in 1946 by Pietro Ferrero in Alba, Italy. The company initially gained fame with the creation of Nutella, a hazelnut cocoa spread designed as a response to post-war cocoa shortages. Over the decades, Ferrero has expanded into a global confectionery giant, introducing iconic brands such as Kinder, Tic Tac, and Ferrero Rocher.

While the company has Italian roots and maintains significant production facilities in Italy, it operates factories across Europe, North America, South America, and Asia. Today, Ferrero remains a private, family-owned entity. In recent years, it has aggressively expanded its portfolio through major acquisitions, including the purchase of Nestlé's U.S. candy business (Butterfinger, Baby Ruth) and the Keebler brand, making it one of the largest confectionery companies in the world.
