Orangina is a carbonated citrus beverage renowned for its distinct bulby glass bottle and the inclusion of real orange pulp and zest. The brand traces its roots back to 1933 when it was first developed by Spanish pharmacist Dr. Trigo as 'Naranjina.' It was later acquired and launched in Algeria and France by French businessman Léon Beton, where it became a cultural icon. The beverage is famous for its 'shake it' ritual, designed to mix the fruit pulp settled at the bottom of the bottle.

Today, the ownership of the Orangina brand is split geographically. In most European markets, Africa, and parts of the Caribbean, it is owned and distributed by the Orangina Schweppes Group, which is a subsidiary of the Japanese beverage giant Suntory Holdings. Meanwhile, in North America, the brand is owned by Keurig Dr Pepper. The product is manufactured in several locations worldwide to serve regional markets, primarily in France for European distribution and via franchise bottlers in other territories.
