PG Tips Tea

PG Tips is a British tea brand established in 1930 by Arthur Brooke in Manchester, England. Originally named Pre-Gest-Tee, it was later renamed PG Tips, referring to the finest tips of the tea plants. The brand gained popularity with its innovative marketing, notably featuring chimpanzees in television advertisements from 1956 to 2002. In 1984, Brooke Bond & Co. Ltd., the company behind PG Tips, was acquired by Unilever, a British-Dutch multinational company. Today, PG Tips is produced in multiple countries, maintaining its status as a beloved tea brand worldwide.
