PG Tips Tea

PG Tips is one of the most iconic British tea brands, originally launched in the 1930s by Arthur Brooke. The brand became famous for its innovative use of 'Pyramid' tea bags and its long-running advertising campaigns featuring the PG Tips chimps and later, 'Monkey'.

Starting as a local English brand, it grew to become a staple in households across the UK. For decades, it was a cornerstone of the Unilever portfolio. However, in 2022, following a strategic shift by Unilever to divest its tea business, PG Tips became part of a new independent tea company. The product continues to be primarily manufactured and blended at its long-standing factory in Trafford Park, Manchester, maintaining its heritage as a quintessential British brew.
