Breathe Right is a well-known brand of nasal strips designed to improve airflow through the nasal passages without the use of medication. The product was originally invented and developed in the United States by the company CNS, Inc. in the early 1990s. It quickly gained international fame after being adopted by professional athletes to enhance breathing performance.
Over the years, the brand has changed ownership several times through major corporate acquisitions. It was first acquired by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) in 2006. In 2020, Foundation Consumer Healthcare purchased the Breathe Right brand from GSK. Today, Foundation Consumer Healthcare, headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, remains the ultimate owner and continues to manage the production and global distribution of the product, which is primarily manufactured in the United States.
