Fanta Orange

Fanta is a global brand of fruit-flavored carbonated soft drinks created by the Coca-Cola Company. The brand's origin dates back to 1940 in Nazi Germany, when ingredients for Coca-Cola syrup became difficult to import; the local German branch developed a new product using available ingredients like whey and apple pomace.

Today, Fanta is owned by The Coca-Cola Company, headquartered in the United States. While the brand was born out of necessity in Germany, it has evolved into a massive international franchise available in over 190 flavors worldwide. It is manufactured in numerous countries through a vast network of local bottling partners who mix the concentrate with water and sweeteners native to those regions.
