O'boy is a chocolate drink powder that originated in Norway under the brand Freia. In 1960, it was introduced to Sweden under the name O'boy. In 1995, the brand was acquired by Kraft Foods, now known as Mondelez International, which also owns Marabou, a Swedish chocolate brand. Production of O'boy is currently carried out in the Marabou factory in Upplands Väsby, Sweden. Therefore, O'boy is a Norwegian-origin product, produced in Sweden, and owned by the American company Mondelez International through its Swedish subsidiary, Marabou.
