DR1 Television Broadcast

The image shows a television screen tuned to the Danish public broadcaster DR1, as indicated by the red square DR logo visible in the upper left corner of the screen.

DR (Danmarks Radio) is Denmark's public-service broadcaster, established in 1925 as Statsradiofonien. It provides television, radio, and digital media services across Denmark funded primarily through general taxation (formerly license fees).

As Denmark's main national public service media institution, DR is state-funded and an autonomous public institution overseen by the Danish Ministry of Culture.
