Nexen Tyres

Nexen Tire is a prominent global tyre manufacturer widely available throughout the United Kingdom and Europe. Originally established in 1942 under the name Heung-A Tire Company in South Korea, the business became Korea's first domestic car tyre manufacturer in the 1950s. In 2000, the company rebranded as Nexen Tire Corporation, a name derived from combining the words 'next' and 'century'.

Nexen manufactures its extensive range of passenger, SUV, and commercial vehicle tyres across state-of-the-art production facilities situated in South Korea (Yangsan and Changnyeong), China (Qingdao), and the Czech Republic (Žatec). The European manufacturing facility in the Czech Republic specifically supplies the UK and broader European markets with both aftermarket and original equipment tyres for vehicle manufacturers.

Nexen Tire Corporation remains an independent publicly traded enterprise headquartered in Yangsan and Seoul, South Korea. In the United Kingdom, operations and distribution are coordinated through Nexen Tyre UK Ltd and major tyre wholesale distributor networks.
