Indesit Washing Machine

Indesit is an Italian major household appliance brand founded in 1975 under the Merloni family (originally established as Indesit / Merloni Elettrodomestici in Fabriano, Italy).

In 2014, Whirlpool Corporation acquired Indesit Company. In April 2024, Whirlpool Corporation completed a major strategic transaction merging its European major domestic appliances business with Arçelik (Koç Holding) to form a new joint venture company named Beko Europe B.V. (owned 75% by Arçelik / Koç Holding and 25% by Whirlpool Corporation). Therefore, the ultimate parent company of Indesit's European operations is Koç Holding.

Indesit washing machines are manufactured across several international production facilities, primarily in Poland, Italy, and Turkey depending on the specific model and distribution market.
