Vifon, short for Vietnam Food Industries Joint Stock Company, is one of the pioneer brands in the instant food industry in Vietnam. Established in the early 1960s, it gained international recognition for popularizing Vietnamese culinary staples like Phở and various noodle varieties in a convenient, instant format. The 'VJ' line specifically caters to consumer demand for quick, flavorful meals.

While the brand remains deeply rooted in its Vietnamese heritage with its primary manufacturing facilities located in Ho Chi Minh City, it has expanded its reach to over 80 countries. In 2005, the company underwent privatization, transitioning from a state-owned enterprise to a joint-stock company. Today, it remains a dominant player in the Southeast Asian food market under the ownership of private investors and the Vietnam Food Industries JSC structure, maintaining its position as a major exporter of Vietnamese flavors to the global market.
