Clesa semi-skimmed milk

Clesa is a historic Spanish dairy brand founded in 1943 by the doctor and businessman Basilio Paraíso Lasús. The name stands for Centrales Lecheras Españolas, S.A. It grew to become one of the most recognized dairy producers in Spain, known for its milk, yogurts, and desserts.

Throughout its history, Clesa has undergone several ownership changes. It was notably owned by the Italian multinational Parmalat and later by the Spanish conglomerate Nueva Rumasa. Following the financial collapse of Nueva Rumasa, the brand was rescued in 2012 by ACOREO (Agrupación de Cooperativas Lácteas del Noroeste), a group of Galician dairy cooperatives. Today, production is primarily centralized at its facilities in Caldas de Reis, Galicia, ensuring the use of local Spanish milk.
